About Me

I am David Dumont. I am married and have two children. My daughter is 12 years old and is enjoying school in Pennsylvania. My son is 8 years old and is on the autism spectrum. I have supported this conference  for a few years because it is very helpful to get together to help and support one another.

About Me

I am a father of two wonderful children...both have their challenges though both carry "labels".  One would be labelled as typical-developing while the other would be devlopmentally-delayed, ASD, etc.  While times can be challenging, I would not change either of them since they both bring their own special gifts to the world.

Have you attended the NH Family Support Conference before?

Yes

What would you like to accomplish most by attending the conference?

I enjoy attending the conferences to recharge my internal batteries, catch up with friends and network.

About Me

I am a Mother, Volunteer, Advocate. ” As a parent of 4 children, that job always comes first, but it’s because of that role, that I feel so strongly about the other two roles I have carved out for myself, those of volunteer and advocate.”  I am the Executive Director of ABLE NH (Advocates Building Lasting Equality in NH), www.ablenh.org.

ABLE NH is a statewide grassroots nonprofit advocacy organization.  ABLE NH advocates for the civil and human rights of all children and adults with disabilities and promotes full participation by: improving systems of supports and services, connecting families, inspiring communities, and influencing public policy.
